NEWS & REVIEWS
"IN THEIR OWN WORDS is a
collection of remarkable war stories told by the men who fought for the United
States in W.W.II on the western front. Though no historian can express the fear
a soldier felt better than the soldier himself, even a well educated layman
cannot easily relate to the problems of coping with the 1940's aviation
technology. Nevertheless, most accounts, some by Medal of Honor winners, are
compelling and are largely representative of the armed services as a whole. The
works are well thought out and executed. A suitable acquisition that will
reward listeners curious about their forefathers and W.W.II."
