June 6th, 1944... D-Day. It was the
greatest military assault ever staged. Code named Operation Overlord, the
massive invasion of Normandy by the Allies involved more than a quarter of a
million soldiers, sailors and airmen, 5000 ships and 3000 aircraft. This is the
inside story of D-Day, told by courageous men who fought the
battles.
In over 4 hours of compelling first-hand
accounts, veterans of the epic conflict speak with unprecedented honesty,
detail and emotion. Some were decorated heroes, including Medal of Honor
winners, others were just teenagers struggling to survive, but all of them were
there, and these are their voices.
